Number 117 - This Week's Interview Schedule
On Saturday the 8th, because I'd come to Kanazawa, I thought I might as well see some of the town, so I got up some time after 6:30 a.m. and went out for a walk.
However, after leaving the hotel and arriving at Kanazawa Castle I ran out of time. I wasn't able to get to Kenrokuen[1]. Too bad.
Then I was on the interview treadmill from the morning. In Kanazawa City it went: radio -> newspaper -> newspaper -> radio -> television -> lunch; and then -> television-> television, I then went to Fukui[2] prefecture. There I finished up: television -> radio -> television.
For dinner I had the Fukui prefecture specialty Oroshisoba (This is soba eaten with a dipping sauce that has lots of grated daikon[3] in it) and then went straight to Komatsu airport[4].
I arrived back in Tokyo just before 10 p.m. When I got back to my house some time after 11, my head was fuzzy.
Today, Monday the 10th, was Sapporo.
This weeks schedule - Sapporo, Akita, Sendai, Osaka, Nagoya - is really flying
around all over Japan.
