		In at least one case, it appears Miyazaki may have redrawn a panel (above, right) to eliminate visual redundancy with a similar panel seen earlier in the story (left).* * We do not have the earlier issue, probably Animage 1987/5, to verify this. The scan at left, taken from the collected volume, may be a revision as well. If any reader can verify this panel in Animage is in fact identical with Volume 5 - page 68, please let us know!

On more than one occasion, Miyazaki extensively reworked pages to make the sequences more to his liking. Not surprisingly, highly dramatic story points seemed to receive the most attention.

As you can see, the original publication of Nausicaa's encounter with "the Nothingness" was expanded and completely reworked. Only three of the first four panels from the original were used in the revision.
