It has an article about Andrew Stanton's (the director of Bug's Life) visit to Studio Ghibli. The article is basically the same as the one in the previous issue of Animage, but you can see nice, color picutres of Miyazaki and him, and the picture of Miyazaki-San's drawing (Totoro and the character of Bug's Life). (This drawing is also available at Ghibli's official site, http://www.ntv.co.jp/ghibli/diary_y/9901.html, but it's in black and white.) In the article, Miyazaki talked about the "short movie" to be screened at the to-be-built Ghibli museum. He says that he wants a few young animators to make short films (less than 10 minutes long), about 2 films per year. The films have to be simple ones, such as a kid walking with no background picture. Anyway, that's what he said back in January (at the point of this visit). And he can (as we know very well) change his mind anytime. BTW, "GaZo" vol.2 also has an interview of Oshii (about "Jinro", a new film based on his script), and a couple of interviews of Anno (about Japanese SFX movies, especially "Gamera 3", of which he made a making-of video). _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
