This is the English language dub produced by Buena Vista Home Entertainment with the voices of Kirsten Dunst, Phil Hartman, Matthew Lawrence, Debbie Reynolds, and Janeane Garofalo.

Note: SIFF claims this is a "World Premiere", which must mean that they're referring to the premiere of the English dub produced by Buena Vista (Disney). Evidence against any other definition of "world premiere" includes:

World premiere?
No: this film was originally released in Japan in 1989.
English language premiere?
No: a previous English-language version was produced by Carl Macek (of Harmony Gold and Streamline fame) at Tokuma's request for Japan Air Lines' international flights.
US premiere?
No: the Macek dub was premiered in 1993 at the University of Washington, in Seattle, Washington, arranged by the Anime Discovery Project, the campus anime club.

Disney to release a subbed VHS of Kiki!

Buena Vista Home Entertainment is going to release a subbed VHS of Kiki sometime in 1998 (after the release of the dubbed version). The sub will be letterboxed, and contain the original Japanese opening and ending songs by Yumi ARAI.
