How to write a Press Kit

Mission Statement

The purpose of the Press Kit Project is fourfold:

1. To provide an internet-based venue for the discussion of topics related to the creation of an anime club or anime fan organization media press kit.
2. To aid in the creation of a standardized format for such a press kit, as well as to aid in the planning of individual distribution strategies for the press kit.
3. To establish a web-based repository of all anime-related press kits, to be used for reference by anyone, as well as a web-based resource establishing guidelines on the creation of subsequent press kits.
4. To assist other anime clubs or anime fan organizations in the planning and execution of press kit-related activities, such as media interviews, information seminars, conventions and festivals.

However, efforts by anime fans such as yourselves have proven that the media can be easily influenced to recognize anime for what it is in an unbiased manner. It is the purpose of this project, as a service by and for anime fans, to help change the mass media's misconceptions about anime, and to offer a more balanced perspective."
