September 25, 2004 "Princess Mononoke" in Hurstville, Australia
A new Australian film society named The Filmseen of Hurstville, southern metropolitan Sydney, will be showing a print of "Princess Mononoke" in the original Japanese with English subtitles on Sunday, October 17th, 2004 at 1:00pm. This will be a one-time screening.

September 13, 2004 "Howl's Moving Castle" in Sweden
Triangelfilm is the distributor for all of Scandinavia and is planning to release the film in September 2005. They also handled the release of Spirited Away in Sweden.

September 12, 2004 "Spirited Away" DVD Lawsuit Settled
Yahoo News reports that the three plaintiffs agreed to drop their demands for a recall in exchange for an agreement from Disney to "if it adjusts data on DVD versions of films it sells in the future, it will clearly state it made changes."

They also received 10,000 yen, but with Ghibli DVDs costing 4700 yen the money is more of a token amount.
