Arrietty Production Report
Nishioka announced the latest Arrietty production status report.
According to Nishika, key animation and the chief animator's check are complete. Animation and background painting will be completed this week. Key animators will finish up drawing animation cels this week by not taking a rest (in the figurative sense). The background painting staff will move on to start the work of the exhibition of Taneda and other Ghibli films.
Because animation work will be completed this week, painting work has become difficult. Studio Ghibli uses Toonz Harlequin to paint so most studios cannot assist.
Arrietty's third trailer will be released soon.
