Goro Miyazaki (宮崎吾朗 Miyazaki, Gorou?) was born on 21 January 1967 in Tokyo, and is the son of Studio Ghibli co-founder Hayao Miyazaki.

He has directed two feature films for the studio: Tales from Earthsea (2006), and From Up on Poppy Hill (2011). In addition, he also directed two TV CMs while at the studio: Sugiura for the Yomiuri News Syndicate in 2009, and Nisshin Seifun for the Nisshin Seifun Foods Group in 2010. In 2014, he began working on his first TV series Ronia the Robber's Daughter, a collaborative project of Studio Ghibli and Polygon Pictures for NHK.

Prior to his directing duties at the studio, he had graduated from Shinshu University and went on to a career as a landscape architect. In 2001 he designed the gardens for and then became the curator for the Studio Ghibli Museum in Mitaka.
